Holt, Mich., on October 25-26. Eleven congregations in northeast Indiana are being invited to attend this assembly. Attendance is expected to exceed IJO9. The purpose of the assembly is to instruct the witnesses in their ministry and to aid them in applying Bible principles to the problems of our day. The theme of the assembly is, “As for Us We Shall Serve Jehovah," based on the scripture found at Joshua 24:15, “Now if it is bad in your -eyes to serve Jehovah, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve, whether the gods that your forefathers who were on the other g-side of the River served or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are dwelling. But as for me and my household, we shall serve Jehovah.” There will be a baptism at new ministers on Sunday morning. Sunday afternoon the advertised public address, “How the Kingdom of God Affects You.” will be given by J. L. Waddington, district supervisor for Jehovah’s Witnesses in the tri-state area. All interested persons are welcome. There is no admission charge and no collections are taken.
