Bethel church plans evangelistic services

The Bethel Church of the Brethren in Milford has evangelistic services planned for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 19, 20 and 21. The guest evangelist will be Dr. Quentin J. Everest of the radio program “Your Warship Hour” which originates in South Bend Services at the local church will be held at 7:30 nightly, Sunday morning worship will be at 10:30 a m. and informal coffee hour will be held at 6:30 on Sunday evening preceding the service. The guest speaker, who is founder and has been pastor for the radio program “Your Worship Hour” for 43 years is a member of the Missionary church. The non-denominational program is syndicated to numerous radio stations in the US, Cana# and some other countries. Dr. Everest has been listed in “Who’s Who in Mid-West United States” and in “Who’s Who in Religion in America ” He has a Doctor of Divinity degree from Bethel college in Mishawaka and has been granted an honorary

He was taken into custody by Goshen police in the 100 block of North Fifth street in Goshen.

UNITED FUND CAMPAIGN IN FULL SWING — Representatives of the inplant solicitation division of the United Fund of Kosciusko county met at a Warsaw restaurant to receive instruction packets recently. This division has the responsibility of soliciting all the industrial employees in the county. Since there is no house canvassing. contacting people in industry is an important step toward obtaining the goal of 8252,000. There are 21 agencies of the United Fund for the coming year. Boy Scouts from troop 730 volunteered help in distributing the packets.
