Dear Editor: I noticed that in the new county budgets for the year of 1976 sheriff John Hammersley requested an increase of $2,106 over his present salary’ of $11,394 He knew when he ran for sheriff that his salary was $11,394. A member of the Winona Miner 49’ers 4-H club, she has been in 4-H4or the past eight years. Bryant is 18 and has been a member of the Pierceton Hayseed club for the past 10 years. He was the salutatorian of the 1975 graduating class of Whitko high school. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Bryant and plans to attend Purdue university this fall, majoring in animal science.
