OUR TOWN'S postmaster Paul Kizer stopped in last Thursday to pick up the photo of his daughter and son-in-law and stated the article on his daughter. Mrs. Robert (Rita) Sheire and Mr. Sheire of Dunedin. Fla., which appeared last week in The M-J was very good. THE ICE cream socials held by churches in the Milford community the last couple of weeks have been well attended. j The Island Chapel social was held at the fire station and was a success, so we hear. One of Our Town's residents thought the sound of homemade ice cream was so good he quit mowing his lawn and went for cake and ice cream and another lady said she drove all the way from Etna Green as she ordered her first two dishes. The First Brethren social was held on the church lawn last Saturday. We know it wa§ a success because the last sloppy joes were served on hot dog buns. Sales had been so good the regular bunS uere gone. Sloppy joes this way were not as messy t© serve according to Mrs. Mike Mathews and not as messy to eat either. Ted Baumgartner, a close neighbor of the church, was seen returning- _for seconds on ice cream. Watch your figure. Ted! Infant Joe Beer, son of Jim and Debbie, was content in an infantseat watching all the people in the various activities. His parents were helping out at the social. SIXTEEN LADIES from the Bethel Church of the Brethren enjoyed an outing to South Bend last Wednesday. They appeared on Homemaker's Time on WSBT. We hear everyone didn't wave at the camera. Later they toured the Kreamo Bakery and visited the Pottowatami conservatory and even aieaked in a little shopping so we hear.
