Sounds of Hope is touring Europe under sponsorship of Rotary clubs
The Sounds of Hope choralorchestra group, left July 1 for its 1975 concert tour in Europe. Varner M.f Chance, president, founder and choir director, has a busy schedule planned for those on the tour Accompanying the group with Chance and his wife are Vernon H Stinebaugh, associate professor of music education and strings at Manchester college and a number of adults who are serving as sponsors Stinebaugh is director of the orchestra. In all. 62 persons are on the tour Sounds of Hope is a non-profit organization sponsored by the Rotary clubs Each individual on the tour pays his own way. however, and there is nd charge for most of the concerts The Syracuse Rotary club will be sponsoring a homecoming concert in the Wawasee high school auditorium at 7 30 p m. on Wednesday. July 23 A supper will be held for the group of Opwood Park prior to the concert The Sounds of Hope tour group departed from Chicago at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1. arriving tn Amsterdam Wed nesday morning Thursday was spent rehearsing and visiting The Hague with the afternoon being free In the evening a concert was presented

At 10:35 a.m. yesterday (Tuesday) they boarded the Rhine steamer at Boppard and disembarked at Saint Goar. Motorcoaches then took them via Mainz along the Autobahn to Aschaffenburg. Wertheim and Tauberbishofheim. A concert was presented in Lauda at Stadthalle. N umber g TodayToday (Wednesday) the group traveled via Bad Mergentheim to Rothenburg for lunch and then proceded to Numburg At 8 p.m. a concert will be given at Saint Paul's church in Furth. Tomorrow they will again travel along the Autobahn to Mimich. Time will be allowed for sightseeing before they precede via Kufstein across the border into Austria. They are expected to arrive in Kitzbuhel around 4 p.m. The morning is free on Friday with an optional ascent by the Hahnenkamm lift. In the afternoon they will drive via Innsbruck to Seefeld. On Saturday they will make some visits in the area of Innsbruck. presenting a concert at Musikpavillon in Seefeld. Sunday they will travel over the Arlbergpass Vaduz, to iNext week at -Is r Epworth - f Senior institute will be held July 13-20 for the Marion district. They will drive ria Belfort and over the Ballon d'Alsace to Nancy where a reception and concert will be held. The next day they will travel ria Luxembourg to Belgium whdre they will spend the night in Brughes. A morning channel crossing to Dover is scheduled for July 17. A full day will be spent in Bognor Regis on Friday-. July 18. with private families. A concert will be given in the evening. Saturday. July 19. at 9 a m they will depart for London and

The afternoon will be free with a concert at the church in Cheam in the evening. Monday. July 21. is scheduled for sightseeing in London and the afternoon will give time for the group to do what it chooses. They will depart from the airport on Tuesday.
