Conservation club sponsoring program on safety on lakes

Barbee Hoosiers discusses fund raising project
The summer fund raising project was discussed briefly during the recent June meeting of Barbee Hoosier club The ladies met at Barbee Conservation club building Mrs Ruth Butler, president, Sunshine club has picnic dinner Mrs James Little. Chapman Lake, was hostess for the recent meeting of Sunshine home extension club. Mrs. Leslhe Orr assisted the hostess A picnic dinner was served and business meeting held in the front yard of the borne by the lake Mrs Lloyc| Hively led in group singing of “America the Beautiful.” The pledge to the American flag was led by Mrs William Engleberth Roil call response was “How 1 Met My Husband ” Mrs Ray Kilgore gave the citizenship report Mrs Richard Williamson discussed cultural arts. During the business session plans were discussed for using the "green thumb" symbol to advertise the Farmers Market. Homemakers camp was also discussed A report on the president’s Council meeting was given by Mrs Engleberth The ladies voted to make a donation to the Cardinal Center and to provide food for the 4-H picnic The next meeting will be held July 15 at the home of Mrs. Harold Mullington Mary circle takes recess for summer Mary circle of North Webster United Methodist church will not meet during June, July and August. Missionary to Jamaica, former pastor, visits at Barbee church
Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Imbach and family, Mandeville, Jamaica, have left to visit relatives at Kamloops, British Columbia, after spending several days as guests at the home of Rev. and Mrs. Bryce Foster. Leesburg. The Imbachs are serving as missionaries to Jamaica where they are associated with the West Indies Missions and Jamaica Bible college. Mr. Imbach was formerly assistant pastor at Barbee Community church. On June 11th he presented a program of colored slides at the church outlining the mission work being
