Through the years several buildings were purchased, each being used as a separate storage area until It was torn down and an addition added to the plant. The above photo was taken In the early 1970's and shows the several buildings along with the old Milford Mail sign which had been moved to the back of the building when the new sign denoting The Mail-Journal was installed on the front of the building.

The loading dock was built In 1971 with a job shop being added to the east and work was completed on a paper storage area in August of 1972. Today, the back of the building, like the front, shows a modern facility and is marked by a sign noting it as The Papers Incorporated.
Milford yesterday
In the day when the horse and buggy ruled the road a photographer snapped this photo of Milford's Main street. The building second from the right is the building into which Arch Baumgartner moved his Milford Mail after he purchased it. The building on the far right was torn down years ago. The site is now the location of the new addition to The Paper Incorporated.
