Membership The drama club has membership of 75 students and brings students into contact with the theatre arts through participation of club productions, community and school programs and various workshops The club sponsors the drama productions, and while members comprise most of the crews, any student at Wawasee may try out for a part or work on the production. The spring presentation will be given on two nights. March 20 and March 21. in the school auditorium. Karen Rowe is singing with Augustana ROCK ISLAND. ILL - Karen J. Rowe, North Webster, a senior at Augustana college. Rock Island, is a member of the nationally known Augustana choir. The 70-voice choir will leave February 28 for a 12-day tour through midwestern and ’eastern states, including a concert at Lincoln Center. New Y’ark city, on March 9. The choir will present a concert in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic church, Notre Dame, on Saturday, March 1, at 8:15 p.m. Miss Rowe is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Rowe, r 1 North Webster.

/ Winter concert set for Tuesday night

Wawasee high school music department will present its annual winter concert on Tuesday evening. Feb. 25. The program will be given in the auditorium at 7:30 p.m. The concert orchestra, cadet choir, concert choir, women’s choir, cadet band and concert band will combine to give an evening of musical entertainment.

Wawasee high school senior to ottend 'Classroom' in D. C.

Alice A. Gunden, a student at Wawasee high school has been selected to attend A Presidential Classroom for Young Americans in Washington, D. C. Miss Gunden is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cleland C. Gunden of r 1 Milford and is scheduled to arrive in the nation’s capital on March 22 to join with other high school students from all over the country who are attending the fifth session of classroom ’75. Nearly 9,000 juniors and seniors have participated in this unique learning experience since 1968 when Presidential Classroom was chartered as a nonprofit, nonpartisan educational program. The Classroom is designed to promote a greater understanding of the dynamics and structure of the federal government through personal contact with its institutions and leaders All three branches of the federal government come under study, as well as related areas and issues which directly influence the conduct of its affairs. Participants meet with senators, congressmen, ad-s. ministration officials, foreign dignitaries and representatives of the military community, the news media and interest groups. The seminar roster for the 1975 program includes such eminent speakers as Senator Hubert H.

(Additional copies are available at the town hall or bank) WATER SERVICE AGREEMENT The undersigned subscribes and contracts for the use, as soon as available# of water to be furnished and provided by the Waterworks Utility of the Town of Syracuse, Indiana, a municipal utility, now existing and operated by the Town of Syracuse, Indiana, for the use and benefit of residents and commercial, industrial and governmental establishments of the Town of Syracuse, Indiana, and its environs. It is the understanding of the undersigned that the said municipal waterworks of the Town of Syracuse, Indiana, may extend its services by additions to its distribution system so that its water supply may become available in the reasonable future to the undersigned, and that said municipal waterworks utility, if such additional distribution system is completed, will provide such distribution system to the property line of the undersigned and will have a connection or tap available to the undersigned for connecting to said distribution system at the property line of the undersigned. Any service line to connect to the distribution system required by the undersigned shall be the obligation of the undersigned and will not be provided by the municipal waterworks utility. The municipal waterworks utility shall furnish and provide a cut-off valve and a water meter at its own expense, and without charge to the undersigned. The undersigned enters into and executes this contract with the understanding and agreement that the maximum monthly charge for such water shall not exceed Four Dollars and 40/100 ($4.40) per month for minimum water usage by the undersigned based upon rates as finally fixed and determined by the Public Service Commission of Indiana for users of any classification within the limits of the Town of Syracuse, Indiana, having a water meter of to % " capacity. Larger size meters required for large consumption, commercial, industrial and governmental users, and users outside the limits of the Town of Syracuse, Indiana, will be proportionately higher. It is the understanding of the undersigned that a or ¥4" meter will be installed and utilized for usual and customary residential customer consumption. The undersigned further understands that consumers who contract with the municipal waterworks utility of the Town of Syracuse, Indiana, for water services subsequent to the sale of revenue bonds by the Town of Syracuse for the purpose of the aforesaid distribution system addition shall be charged a connection or tap-on fee for connecting to the municipal waterworks distribution system. It is the further understanding and agreement of the undersigned that in the event a connection or tap is made hereby for his premises that the minimum monthly charge for water services provided by said municipal waterworks utility shall be paid for such premises where service is available in each and every month subsequent to the time water is supplied and available at said premises. It is understood and agreed that this contact shall be binding upon the municipal waterworks utility of the Town of Syracuse, Indiana, and the undersigned upon approval of plans for construction of the contemplated additional distribution system and the sale of revenue bonds to finance such construction.
