OBITUARIES
Mrs. Eva E. HulF Funeral services for Mrs. Eva E. Hull, 87, 1001 Zollinger road, Goshen, sister of Jacob Rink, Milford, were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday. Mrs. Hull passed away Tuesday, Jan. 28, at 3 p.m. at the Goshen hospital where she had been a patient for one day. Before being admitted to the hospital she was living at the Peterson nursing home. Mrs. Hull was bom on August 15, 1887 in Clinton township and she was united in marriage to Clyde Hull on April 6. 1907 He preceded her in death on October 29, 1949. Surviving with the Milford brother are .two daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Schmucker and Mrs Glen (Stella) Hapner, both of Gokhen; one son, Ralph, r 4 Goshen, nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren; two other brothers, George Rink. Middlebury, and Samuel Rink of Goshen. Rev. Clarence B. Fike officiated for the senices and interment was in Brown cemetery at Millersburg Mrs. Levi Drake Graveside services were held Tuesday afternoon at Zenia. Ohio, for Mrs. Sarah J. Drake, 78. of Syracuse and mother of Donald Drake of Milford. Death came Saturday morning at the residence of Mrs Irene Ring on r 1 Pierceton, where Mrs. Drake had been living. She was bom at Paintersville. Ohio, on August 27. 1896, a daughter of David and Della (Airy) Faulkner. Her husband. Levi Drake, preceded her in death in 1939 Mrs Drake moved to the Syracuse community about 15 years ago from Zenia. In addition to the sort). she 1S survived by two grandchildren; and one sister. Mrs. Thelma Edwards. Jamestown. Ohio.

Samuel C. Kline r Services were held Monday for Samuel C. Kline, 79. of Wakarusa and stepfather of Mrs. John Fisher of Syracuse. Death came Friday night at Elkhart hospital where he had been a patient since January 23. and was due to complications of the flu. A farmer until his retirement in 1959, Mr. Kline was bom on June 11.1895 in ]#akarusa. He married the former Mary Shirk in 1945. She preceded him in death in 1962. Mr. Kline was a veteran of World War I, serving with the 80th infantry division in Europe and was a member of the Elkhart VFW and Zion United Church of Christ at Wakarusa Survivors, in addition to the stepdaughter, include a number of step-grandchildren; one brother. Walter of Wakarusa; and a niece and nephew Burial was in Bremen cemetery. Roman Miller Services for Roman Miller, son Mr. and Mrs. Mose M. Miller, r 1 Milford, were held at 1 p.m. Friday. Roman was stillborn at the Elkhart hospital on Thursday, Jan. 30, at 7:50 p.m. Surviving with the parents are one brother. Daniel; three sisters. Leona. Arlene and Ruby, .all at home; grandparents. Mr and Mrs Milo M Miller and Mr and Mrs. Marvin Miller, all of the Milford and Nappanee areas. Graveside services were held at the Weldy cemetery Ralph M. Tumbleson Ralph M Tumbleson. 85, Atwood. a former Milford resident, passed away Saturday at 3 p.m. at Murphy Medical Center in Warsaw Tumbleson was born on February 22, 1889 to William and Mary (Miller) Tumbleson at Milford He was united in
marriage to Mary Byrer on February 6, 1910 and die survives. He had been an Atwood resident most of his life. Surviving with the widow is one son. Ralph (Mike) Turn Meson of Warsaw; two daughters. Mrs. Everett (Ethel) Vandermark. Warsaw, Mrs. Albert (Thelma* Kammerer, Leesburg; six grandchildren; 12 greatgrandchildren; one brother. George Tumbleson. South Bend; one sister, Mrs. Susie Rose. Dowagiac. Mich. Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. Herbert Edwards officiating. Interment was in Harrison Center cemetery’. Willis E. (Bill) Hare Services were held Tuesday morning few Willis Bill l Hare. 52, r r Syracuse and owneroperator of Galloway Grocery at Lake Wawasee. Death came around 2 a m. at his home Sunday and Was due to an apparent heart attack. Bom at Nappanee on February 6,1922, he was a son of Raymond and Grace (Smeltzer) Hare and had resided in the Wawasee, area for the past 33 years His marriage to the former Mary Galloway took place June 7, 1*941 at Wawasee. and she survives. He was a veteran of World War 11, having served in the army, and was a member of the Syracuse VFW and Legion post at Nappanee In addition to the widow, he is survived by one son. Kent Hare, Syracuse; two grandchildren, three sisters. Mrs A. L. (Phyllis) Haney of Nappanee. Mrs. Kenneth (Patsy) Middaugh. Nappanee, and Mrs. Peg Bean of Syracuse; and one brother. Brooks, Sr., of Milford have received word of the January 21 birth of their granddaughter, Ann Marie, born to Mr. and Mrs. Scott Crist of Gettysburg, Ohio. The young lady tipped the scales at six pounds, nine ounces. Mr and Mrs. Brooks are the maternal grandparents and Everett Crist of Gettysburg is the paternal grandfather. Jeremy David Leonard Kaufman of Syracuse has received word of the January 27 birth of a son, Jeremy David, to Mr. and Mrs. David Wolf of Bremerton. Wash. The newborn arrived at 5:13 a m. and weighed nine pounds, eight ounces. Mr Kaufman is the maternal grandparent and Mr. and Mrs. Willard Wolf of Osceola are the paternal grandparents. The afternoon was spent making Valentine box cards.
