Lord's prayer opens Dec. 30 Kiwanis breakfast meeting
The Lord's prayer was repeated in unison to open the December 30 breakfast of Lakeland Kiwanis club. Goshen, a missionary on furlough from Australia, will be a special guest at the January 10 meeting of Barbee Ladies Christian Service. Mrs Haberstich. who works with the Child Evangelism Fellowship at Plympton, Australia, will share some of her mission field experiences. The meeting will begin at 10:30 am at Barbee church. W’inchester. were week end guefets in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Moser, r 1 Leesburg -NW—--51,240 damage in two-car crash City patrolman Jerry Hatfield investigated a two car accident Friday. Jan. 3, at 2:42 p.m. in the 400 block of North Detroit SL, Warsaw. Drivers involved were David L. Kaufman, 23. Argos, and Vicki S. Leake. 19, Leesburg. Patrolman Hatfield set damage at SBOO to the Kaufman auto and $440 to the Leake auto. No injuries were reported.
Leesburg man cited after crash An auto operated by Robert L. Teeple. 30, r 1 Leesburg, sideswiped an auto operated by Wayne Wiley, 43, r 2 Leesburg. Tuesday, Dec. 31, at 6 p.m. The accident occurred on the Armstrong road at Oswego and state trooper Melvin Keplinger investigated. Wiley was reportedly westbound on the Armstrong road when the accident occurred. Teeple drove from the scene of the accident and was cited by Keplinger for driving while under the influence of intoxicating beverages and failure of duty at the scene of a property damage accident. No injuries were reported with damage set at $175 to the Teeple auto and S4OO to the Wiley auto.
Minor injuries in area crash A rural Syracuse young woman, Miss Victoria Mock, 20, of r 3 sustained a head laceration around 6 p.m. Thursday as she attempted a left turn into a service station at North Webster and her vehicle collided with a northbound vehicle. Driver of the other auto was Marlene Charlton, 41, r 1 North Webster, who was northbound on state road 13 at the time. North Webster town marshal Tony Strombeck set damages at SSOO to the Mock car and SBOO to the North Webster woman’s car.

A young Syracuse man, David H J. Housouer, 17, r 3 sustained a black eye and complained of a pain to the right arm, however, did not receive treatment following a one-car crash on Warner road southeast of Syracuse on Tuesday of last Correction on fire Mrs. Henry Beer of Milford has informed this paper that her son Lowell, an Indianapolis resident, was not staying at the cabin which burned on Christmas day. Mrs. Beer states there was no one at the cabin at the time of the fire.
