By RANDY FITZGERALD The Mail-Journal's Washington Bureau WASHINGTON - That Presidential bug that bit Sen. Birch Bayh two years ago apparently still lingers. After a close reelection victory wer Republican Richard Lugar, a race that left him physically and emotionally drained, the liberal Indiana Democrat continues to summon up White House visions. He insists, however, these thoughts are more often than not planted by political supporters “I don't know what I’m going to do.” he said in an interview two days after the election. ‘‘l’ve been approached by people wanting to get involved (in a Presidential race). But I’ve told them, look, I don’t have any plans right now. “I want to get my office in gear between now and December. We’ve got some pretty critical decisions that need to be decided between now and then.” Bayh pausr J, and then added, “Beyond that 1 don’t know. If somebody said here’s the Presidency, run it for four years, there are a lot of ideas that I think could work. But that isn’t the way you get to be President.”
Schumn and letter winners Connie Hoopingarner, Phillis Horvath. Edith Kaufman and Kellie White and manager Tammy Bosstick. Recognition as JV players were Judy Bachtel, Kathy Beer. Teresa Carpenter.
