During the meeting we talked about what we wanted for our long range project. Some of the things mentioned were to take a trip to Cedar Point or Florida, or to a ranch to horse back ride. We then made splatter screens with the leaves we found around the scout cabin. On October 8 our troup made great no-bake peanut butter cookies. On October 22 we discussed visiting the Milford nursing home as a Thanksgiving project. We had to make placemats for our homework. They will be given to the people at the home as a Thanksgiving gift. We also made candy apples after our business meeting. Then last Tuesday, Oct. 29, we learned new songs, discussed the program we will present to the nursing home and worked in our solo flight books for next spring’s Fly-up.
