The day was bleak and gloomy. Huge clouds boiled and churned above dark 8 35-39 forbidding mountains. Even the foliage hung limp and still. Friday Suddenly the clouds parted and a ray of sun streaked through. In that fleeting mo- Ephesians ment the landscape became beautiful —grayness transformed intq mauves. deep blues 4:17-24 and lively greens. It was like watching Creation. For the first time in a long time, I thought of God And I prayed as I had been taught long ago in my church Cotossians That was a turning point Since then God and His Church have once more become . 3.1-11 a part of my life, and my problems have disappeared in away I never dreamed possible. J •' Worship b J With I Us Eldon Wilson Minister WHAT ABOUT THE CHURCH? The Church is here to put Christ before the people. It was not invented by men. Men have used it and misused it. But the Church was founded by Christ. Christ is the heart of the Church, and its Lord. The Church exists to bear witness to Christ. Christ Himself, not the church, is the transforming power in men’s lives. The mission of the Church is to exalt Christ, so that He Himself may do His own blessed work in the hearts of men. Will you give your heart to Him. who gave His all for you? — Buses running every Sunday in Milford, Dewart Lake and Syracuse Areas. — Bible School hour — 9:30 a.m. — Morning Worship services — 10:30 a.m. — Primary.
