Badskey was president of Kiwanis International in the year 1*72-73 and is a director of the North Webster Counting House Bank. He is chairman of the board of LML Corp.. Columbia City, after being its president for 25 years. The firm manufactures the Cardinal line of farm equipment. Riviera Cruisers and some 1100 other products. Even his best friends don't know he has a book of wit coming off the press, entitled “Unaccustomed As 1 Am.” with a subtitle “Gnst For Your Humor Mill '” An accomplished speaker. Badskey writes under the non de plume of Justin Lee. Time again - for Mental Health gifts With the cold winds beginning to blow it is time once again to turn thoughts toward the Christmas season which will be upon us before long. It’s time to remember others. Once again Mrs. Arch Baumgartner and Mrs. William Brammer are serving as chairwomen for the Mental Health Christmas drive. A drive for Christmas gifts for the men and women in the mental hospital at Fort Wayne. Gifts for men and women who will otherwise be forgbtten this Christmas. Gifts may be brought to The Mail-Journal offices in Milford and Syracuse or may be taken to Mrs. Brammer. Both Mrs. Baumgartner and Mrs. Brammer have names of persons for those who wish to remember one individual this year Clubs and individuals may pick these names up from either of these ladies. State police traffic and crime survey Indiana State Police at Ligonier post have announced the following end of the month report for the month of September on their activities in Kosciusko county. Hours worked — 1.092 Miles patrolled — 21.147 Accidents investigated — 18 Arrests effected — 121 Warnings issued — 189 Motorists assisted — 17 The Ligonier district comprises the seven northeastern counties of the state and officers conducted 103 criminal investigations which resulted in the arrests of 53 persons Twenty persons have been fatally injured in rural accidents in Kosciusko county during the nine months of 1974 as compared to 17 persons during this same period in 1973 For the seven county District. 66 persons have lost their lives m traffic accidents as compared to 84 persons this same period last year. This is a reduction of 18 lives.
