OFFICIAL NAMED — Robert E. Lenhart, Jr., has been appointed vice president-marketing of the Weatherhead Company. Lenhart will be responsible for all Weatherhead parent company marketing and distribution operations which include activities in both the industrialand automotive markets. For the past three years. Mr. Lenhart has been vice president of Marketing for the Resistoflex Corp., during which time, he was instrumental in restructuring and directing the company's marketing efforts which resulted in increased market penetration and sales growth. Lakeside VFW Post 1342 to meet Thursday The regular meeting of Lakeside VFW Post 1342 will be held on Thursday evening, Sept. 26, 8 p.m. al the post home, Syracuse. All members of the post are urged to make a special effort to attend.

A discussion will be held on the plans for the celebration of Veteran’s Day. The third annual open house and ham and beans day will be held on Saturday, Nov. 9. Paul Wixson will report on plans for the day’s activities. Matt. Solomon is in charge of arrangements for a dance to be held in the evening.

Walnut logs « stolen from woods Mrs. Harry Zimmerman, Leesburg, reported to county police Lt. Stanley Holderman that three walnut logs were stolen from their woods, one half mile north of CR 500 N, on September 19 or 20 during the night.
