THE RAYMOND Pinkertons of Our Town are bursting at the seams with pride once again Seems granddaughter Connie Hoopmgamer. daughter of the Stanley Hoopingarners of Syracuse, was named Honor Girl for the Indiana State Fair 4-H girls school Connie will be one of 12 who will help plan and carry out the 1875 girls school. NOW COMES a letter from Renee Michelle Lindzy thanking Milford junior high school principal Manon Acton and Pat Speicher, president of the Baseball Boosters club, as well as all the volunteers who helped participate in the girls softball program this summer Speaking in behalf of the Braves softball team. Renee added a special thank you for the team's coaches John Replogle and E. C. Bailey, who made it an enjoyable sport for all of the girls “It's not always winning that counts.” her letter continues, "but it's how you play the game It adds an extra feeling of accomplishment to win no matter what the feat is since this is what life is all about I hope each of you enjoyed it as much as we did ”

CRIS BAUMGARTNER is a happy little girl this week as the doctor took her cast off on Monday. As we understand it she's hoping for warm weather in the weeks ahead so she can go swimming in grandpa Arch's pool The doctor says she needs lots of water therapy and what could be more convenient than a swimming pool' FORMER MILFORD residents got together last Saturday night in New Paris when one helped the other out. Seems Mrs Glenn Price. Jr . of Dunlap was in that neighboring town and found herself in need of cardboard and glue at 8:30 p.m W here do you go at that time of night to secure the necessary supplies* If you were with the Richard Smiths you would go to the Ray Eberhards The Eberhards, like the Prices, are former residents of Our Town Sure enough the needed items were available and Mrs. Price was spared a long drive to secure her items. Mrs. Wilson is a 1968 graduate of North Webster high school and graduated cum laude from Indiana university in 1972 2ish a bachelor of science degree in medical technology, She will receive her doctor of medicine degree in 1978. Mrs. Wilson is the wife of Jeffrey L. Wilson, formerly of Winamac. Mr. Wilson is pursuing a graduate degree in the department of pharmacology at the Indiana university medical center.
