14 YEARS AGO. AUG. 18.1M0 Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Stump of Syracuse are the parents of a 9 lb. 14 oc. son. Kenneth Hugh, born Saturday at 4 Goshen General Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. David Buser were hosts at an outdoor supper Monday for Miss Ida Beer of Basel. Switzerland, who is a house guest of Mr and Mrs Henry Beer. Milford Lions heard a warm and entertaining musical program by the American Legion Auxiliary chorus at their Monday night meeting at the Melody Case The program was directed by Mrs Glen Morehead and was entitled “Lott In Music.” Steven Lee Roderick, a 1960 graduate of Milford high school, was recently on the Ball State Teachers college campus for two days of pre-entrance orientation and examination.' Sue Ann Moneyheffer, daughter of Mr and Mrs Delbert Moneyheffer. is suffering from a broken collar bone which she received while riding the Scrambler at the Goshen fair Mr and Mrs. John Michael and family of Royal Oak. Mich:, spent Tuesday and Wednesday of this week visiting his parents. Mr and Mrs Plomer Michael, of Milford Mr and Mrs Ralph Berkeypile and son Charles and Miss Jean Smoker of Leesburg took a trip to Chicago to see the White Sox and the New York Yankees play ball 24 YEARS AGO. AUG. 17.1»M Miss Alice Yea ter of Milford, will leave Sunday for New York. On August 24. she will sail from there for Buenos Aires. Argentina She will be dietician and teacher of home economics in the Union Theological Seminary there and will be gone three years. A high tension wire, carrying 36,000 volts, was struck by lightning early Sunday evening, and fell to the ground charging a wire fence and starting fire in the grass and to the pole.
