Teaching in Kuwait' 'is Kiwanis program
Hazen Sparks was presented with a one-year pin for perfect attendance during the July 29 meeting of Lakeland Kiwanis dub Ron Owens gave the invocation Mrs. Sherry Lantz and Chuck Kunkel , told the club members about cystic fibrosis. Sharon and Lorraine are spending several days in northern Michigan. They plan to call on Mrs. James Neff near Gladwin. Jeffrey Stookey, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Stookey, fell from a farm elevator last week. Fortunately he was not seriouslyinjured. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Morehouse and Mrs. Clara Fisher called on Mrs. Ocie Lockwood at a Rochester nursing home Sunday afternoon. The Morehouses returned Mrs. Fisher to her home in Peru Sunday afternoon A large group of young people enjoyed the evening and a pig roast near Pierceton recently. Later the group went to the home of Mrs. Inez Shively where they held their business session. Election of class officers was held. On Sunday afternoon, Mrs. Baumgartner's sons and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Sorg and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Sorg, Goshen, held the John Rassi reunion in Goshen with 135 attending.
