NW j LAST YEAR’S CHAMP SOLD FOR 12.30 — Mark Williamson's 1973 grand champion Angus steer sold for 12.30 per pound last year at the 4-H livestock auction. Mike is a resident of r 4 Warsaw. MISS PIERCETON — Representing the Pierceton community in this year’s fair queen contest is .Arlene Whitaker. She resides in Pierceton and will be a senior at Whitko high school in the fall. Arlene is 10. She is five feet, two inches tall and weighs 119 pounds. She has brown eyes and light brown hair. Her hobbies include twirling, swimming and music * Arlene is a member of FTA. National Honor society and is president of the school's library club. She is a twirter. She was also a Girls* Slate delegate this year.

MISS NORTH WEBSTER — This year's Miss North Webster in the county fair queen contest is Kith Marose. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Art Marose of r 2 Leesburg. Kim is 17 and a Wawasee high school senior. She is five feet, four inches tall and weighs 110 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes. This contestant is a lifeguard and a member of the Tippy Ski club. She enjoys the piano. She has been a junior varsity cheerleader and a member of her class executive council.
