Brooks issues monthly report Justice of the peace James K. Brooks of Milford has issued the following report for the month of June:, Don Altixer, Nappanee, appeared on June 7 on a charge of assault and battery and disorderly conduct -The case was venued to Warsaw city court Judith R Hackler. Milford, appeared on June 10 on a charge of disregarding a stop sign She was fined 532. Virginia L. Bess. Milford, appeared on June 12 on a charge of disregarding a stop sign. She paid fine and cost of 132 Ray A. Miner. 719 W. Market. * Warsaw, also appeared on June 12 and paid $37 for speeding. - Raul Martinez. Chicago Aver. Goshen, appeared on June 14 and was fined $37 on each of two counts of unsafe start. Also appearing on June 14 was Marlene K. Ramirez. Milford, who was fined S2B for failure to inspect vehicle. r Marion Acton. Milford, was fined $23 on June 20 for disregarding a stop sign Danny L. Henson. Milford, alsc appeared on June 20 and was assessed $32 for an unsafe start. Domingo Melendez. Jr.. Nappanee, appeared on June 22 and was fined $49 for public intoxication and $49 for disorderly conduct. Juan D. Morales. Milford Hotel. Milford, was committed to the Kosciusko county jail for non payment of fine when he appeared on June 22 on charges of public -intoxication and disorderly conduct. Daniel L. Overman. 105 Miss , Goshen, was fined $32 on June 25 for disregarding a stop sign Jesse Avalos. Milford, was fined $52 on June 28 for driving while suspended. Juan D. Morales. Milford Hotel. Milford, was assessed $52 for no driver s license Two injured in 3-car accident • Damage was set at $3,700 m a - three-car accident and two persons were injured slightly in the collision at 1:28 Wednesday afternoon on Indiana 13 in the village area at Syracuse. Involved were a 1971 Plymouth driven by Bernard Atkins. 28. ,r 3 Syracuse, a 1974 .Mercury, operated by James O. Scott. 48, of Marion, and Lee Williams. 71. Anderson, driver of a 1969 Chevrolet The mishap occurred as the northbound vehicle driven by Atkins made a sudden stop due to traffic in front of him and was hit from behind by the Scott car who swerved to the left in an effort to avoid the collision, and collided with a southbound auto driven by Williams Marilyn Scott, 46. sustained a laceration of the .forearm, and Patrick A Scott. 13. complained of a pain to the back. They were passengers in the Mercury The Syracuse first aid unit responded to the call afterwhich the injured were taken by am oulance to Goshen hospital for - treatment, and released.
