Syracuse man cited in car-motorcycle mishap
An Elkhart woman was injured in a car-motorcycle collision about four miles north of Goshen Friday evening and a Syracuse man, Ranald J Church. 19, was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way in the mishap Minnie L. Pifer, 27, of Elkhart and a passenger on a 1968 Honda, sustained a fracture of the left leg False alarm at Liberty Syracuse volunteer firemen responded to a call at 5:12 p.m. Friday at Liberty Homes but the alarm proved to be false as the fire hose from the sprinkler system developed a leak causing the pressure to drop, and the alarm to sound .
