Two initiated into Beta Psi chapter of Lambda Chi Omega

Heritage Sunday was observed on May 27 at North Webster United Methodist church Special bulletins were printed with pictures depicting the church from its founding m 1862 to the present. Young people from throughout USA here for 'Outreach 74'

The "Outreach 74" program of North Webster United Methodist church has begun with the arrival of 12 young people, from various sectors of the United States, who will be working with the church this summer The students came to the W’ebster church through the auspices of the National Board of Leisure Ministries of the Methodist Conference, board of evangelism The young people are employed in various businesses in the North Webster area Room and board is provided by the local congregation Some of the summer activities scheduled by the students are: A children's story hour at local campgrounds; film festival each Saturday night at the Lions

Report given Kiwanis club on bike check

Richard Lang reported on the bicycle inspection program during the May JR meeting of Lakeland kiwanfs club. Over 400 bicycles from three different schools have been inspected. Girl Scouts go skating North Webster Girl Scout troop 63 went roller skating at Columbia City on May 28. The girls mother’s were invited guests. After roller skating a .picnic lunch was enjoyed at Whispering Pines camp. KING SAUD King Saud of Saudi Arabia died at age 67 on Feb. 23,1969.
