Greg Fidler and Dave Hamilton wore the brick layers when the ’Warriors built their lead. Both got a home run and, in so doing, they each knocked in a run. Greg scored in the first inning while Dave scored in the fourth. East Noble notched a pair of single runs off losing pitcher, Mark Smith. One was scored in the second and one in the sixth inning The seventh inning was the disasterous chapter of the Warrior story. East Noble’s Uhl gota hit and Fishee singled to put two Knights on base. An error on a bunt brought both runners home. Two walks, one intentional, and a preceding flyout filled the bases. A ground ball by Speheger went up the middles and appeared to be a doubtless double play; however, a throwing error let a runner slip home.
