■I ) BRENT KAISER Brent Kaiser in high school 'Who's Who' Brent Lewis Kaiser, a senior at Wawasee high school, was recently notified that he is to be featured in the eighth annual edition of Who’s Who Among American high school students, 1973-74, the largest student award publication in the nation. Students from over 20,000 public, private and parochial high schools throughout the country are recognized for their leadership in academics, athletics, activities or community service in the book. Less than three per cent of the junior and senior class students nationwide are awarded this recognition Brent is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kaiser of r 2 Milford. He is actively engaged in the following: elected Wawasee high school class president in both his junior and senior years; served on the school executive council; honor roll student; member of the band and brass sextet; participated in football and wrestling and member of the Sports Letterman’s club; member and vice president of the Future Farmers of America chapter at Wawasee, on the FFA livestock judging team which recently won first in area judging; president and nine-year member of the Milford Successful 4-H club, won the county 4-H swine award and senior swine showmanship honor , member of the Kosciusko county 4-H Junior Leaders’ organization; and participates in church choir and other activities. In addition to having his biography published in the book. Brent will also compete for one of 10 scholarship awartte of SSOO to SI,OOO funded by the publishers and will be invited to participate in the firm’s annual “Survey of high achievers” later in the academic year. Brent plans to attend Purdue university this fall upon graduation from Wawasee high -school in May Driver arrested after hit and run Manuel Medrano. 55, r 1 Milford, was arrested on charges of reckless driving and leaving the scene following a hit and run accident in Milford on Saturday.
