Whitko, Bremen, Warsaw and Tippecanoe Valley school corporations, will present a program on the special Olympics to be held in Warsaw on May 10. Mrs. Arlene Corson, physical education teacher for the Syracuse schools, will present a program featuring the gymnastics program used at the schools. Also, an installation ceremony will be conducted for the officers elected to serve the PTO during the 1974-75 school year. EW RT. REV. WM. C. R. SHERIDAN To visit at All Saints Episcopal church The Rt. Rev. William C. R. Sheridan, the Fifth Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Northern Indiana, will be making his visitation to All Saints’ Episcopal church on the south shore of Lake Wawasee on Saturday, April 20, and Sunday. April 21. Bishop Sheridan will have luncheon with the women of the church on Saturday at 1 p.m He will talk to them about their goals and achievements. On Saturday evening the Bishop will preside at a dinner meeting with the vicar’s committee where he will informally discuss the state of the diocese and the progress of the local congregation. On Sunday, April 21. the Bishop will confer the Holy Sacrament of Confirmation at the 10 a.m. worship service to those presented by Rev. David L. Hyndman, vicar of the mission. He will also celebrate the Holy Eucharist and preach at that service. The Bishop will meet with all the members of the congregation at a coffee hour after the 10 a.m. service. The people of All Saints' Episcopal church are looking forward to welcoming Bishop Sheridan, who is their spiritual Father in God.

Meek, 23, r 2 Leesburg, struck a tree which had fallen across CR 150 W, about one fourth mile north of CR 500 N, early Saturday. County police patrolman Jerry Johnson reported that Meek was blinded by a bright yard light and could not see the fallen tree. Damage was set at 11,200 and no injuries were reported.

ISU offers summer honors seminars
TERRE HAUTE — High school students who are completing their junior year this spring are eligible to apply for Indiana State university’s 1974 summer honors seminars for talented high school students. Applicants who are accepted for a two-week seminar will have the opportunity to explore their academic interest under the teaching guidance of ISU faculty. They will live in university residence halls for the two weeks and participate in a varied program of recreational and cultural events on campus. Three separate two-week schedules will offer courses in a total of 12 areas of interest. The session which begins June 17 and extents through June 28 will include seminars in chemistry-, Spanish, computer application in business, mathematics and computer science, and history. The July 1-July 12 seminars will include English, physics, art, and a repeat of the mathematics and computer science. The final session, July 22August 2, will offer seminars in government and politics, archeology, life sciences, and radio-TV-film. To qualify for the programs, high school juniors must rank in the upper 25 per cent of their class and-or maintain at least a B average, and be recommended by their teacher and counselor or principal. Cost is 380 for Indiana residents and $l2O for out-of-state students. Those who successfully complete a seminar may earn two semester hours of university credit. Participants in the honors program will be eligible for an ISU talent grant which waives a portion of student fees if the student enrolls at ISU following high school graduation.
