God revealed Himself in an earthly form in His Son Jesus Christ. He also revealed His love for man when He gave His only Son to die on the cross for our sins. This is great divine love! There is nothing we can ever do to make us werthy of this sacrifice! It is only through faith that we can attain everlasting life. We must surrender ourselves and trust in Him for all. Faith is given by the Spirit and He can transform cur nature, and we become new creatures. “He that believeth not is already condemned.” Prayer: I thank you Father for your Son Jesus Clirist, who died for my sins. The John Glaser family was in charge of special music during the worship hour. Mrs. Glaser and daughters Joy and Kathy sang “Who Killed Jesus?” and were accompanied on the guitar by Mr. Glaser. Pastor Chad Woodburn delivered the morning message “Him There ?!” reading from Matthew 27:26-36. Nick Johnston \ undergoes surgery Nick Johnston, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Johnston, underwent surgery on his arm last Friday at the Parkview hospital in Fort Wayne. Nick is expected to be dismissed this week. Mrs. Goodman chosen merit mother of state Mrs. Rose Goodman, cofounder of the World Missionary Press of New Paris, was chosen merit mother of Indiana. She and her family were honored Monday night at the Church of the Brethren in New Paris and she received her award on Tuesday in Indianapolis.
