FOR THOSE who remembered the fire we are grateful to the Martins for also furnishing us with this photo which was taken the following year < fall of 1903) showing the new buildings on the east side of Main street Quite a contrast from the burned out block in last week’s paper. MRS. EVERETT Butrick. farmer resident who now lives over Elkhart way, brought us a clipping on other former residents — the Bob Willsons and Ralph Gansert. A photo shows Maverick Case operator Willson and case manager Gansert as they look over the beginning of a $20,000 expansion on the south and east sides of the case in Maverick Junction. S' D The 1,246 square foot $20,000 addition is expected to be completed by March I. Included in the addition are a dining area, storage room, restrooms and office. Presently the case seats 65 people When the addition is completed it will seat 110. Presently the case employs 18 people, including Gansert's wife Sandra. During the summer months some 30 people are employed. This figure is expected to jump by at least six to serve the additional customers. Bob and Nancy (Campbell) Willson took over the case in February of 1973
