We're lighting mind pollution. We're talking about the sale of trashy books and magazines. We've never sold them and are proud that in any of our 169 Drug Stores, you'll never be offended by a questionable publication. We're not prudes. We just think there is a strong line to be drawn between good taste and bad. Our policy is not to sell any of them, regardless of their sales popularity. This way we can tell you that Hook's are family drug stores and really prove it. In the past, Hook Drugs, Inc. has been commended by the national Citizens' for Decent Literature, Cincinnati, Ohio, for its strong stand against the sale of indecent literature.

WISCONSIN 31 — INDIANA 7. It takes more than desire and Wisconsin had more of what it takes. Unfortunately for us there were only three phases of our game that were efficient. John Babcock’s centering on punts, Jim Wenzel’s kicking and the team fumbling. I was wet, cold had an injured leg and disappointed but like MacArthur — I shall return. Next week another episode in I.U. football. Loss is not news at I.U. but I feel that Corso can do if the alums give him a chance and the help he needs. Two Indiana high school boys were heroes yesterday — at Colorado and Michigan State. That is our responsibility. Believe it or not Wisconsin put on only drive where they held us, took the kick and marched down the field. Three fumbles within our 20 and one on our 38 sealed it. We fumbled again but they couldn’t score but the game had already been salted away. The defense was on the field and on the field. Before the season is over we shall tell you about some of those new names in the last minutes of the game. Dan Marr, Steve Schreckengast etc., Wisconsins record could have been great with slightest of breaks and especially against two nationally ranked teams. It is more fun writing about touchdown and passes when we win so I shall save that for later. Today we talk about people and» things. From the game it would appear that Glazier will probably take over at quarterback. Willie had problems but I feel it was more the offensive line but Glazier moved them. We also used Kramer at quarterback but there is a sneaking suspicion in some quarters that tho Glazier is a junior and the others are sophomores that the quarterback of the future is a freshman. Terry Jones from Cleveland. Comes with credentials. The most valuable player in one of the toughest leagues in Ohio. He has been starring in the “Pizza Bowl” on Monday nights.

stands for a job started when a boy first joined scouting and successfully completed through effort and perseverance. On the average, it takes three years to earn this award. Standing for strength of character, the eagle badge is a symbol of what a boy has done; but, more important, it represents what the boy will be in the future as he grows to manhood.
