That any person, firm or corporation who shall erect, place or locate a mobile home, as hereinafter defined, upon any real estate situate within the corporate limits of the Town of Pierceton, Indiana, in other than a mobile home court, trailer camp, or trailer court, approved by the Indiana State Board of Health, and shall occupy or permit the same to be occupied as a dwelling or sleeping place for one or more person, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not less than One Dollar ($1.00) nor more than Ten Dollars ($10.00) for each and every offense thereof. 2. Definition: A mobile home is hereby defined and declared to be any vehicle which is so constructed as to permit its being used as a conveyance upon public streets or highways by either self-propelled or nonselfpropelled means which is designed, constructed or reconstructed, or added to by means of an enclosed addition or room in such a manner as will permit the occupancy thereof as a dwelling or sleeping place for one or more persons, and which is both used and occupied as a dwelling or sleeping place having no foundation other than wheels, jacks, skirting or other temporary support and having no utility connections with the Town of Pierceton utility system, provided that any structure, whether pre-fabricated or constructed so as to exclude, as a part of said structure, wheels, jacks, or other temporary supports, when placed upon a HELP WANTED
permanent and substantial foundation, connected to existing sewer and water utilities, and duly reported to the Kosciusko County assessor as improvements upon real estate, shall be excluded from the definition "mobile home." 3. That each day that a mobile home, as hereinabove defined, is so located within the corporate limits of the Town of Pierceton, Indiana, shall constitute a separate offense under the terms and provisions of this ordinance. 4. That the effective date of this ordinance shall be from and after passage and publication thereof in the manner prescribed by law.
