NAPPANEE DUTCH STREET DAYS Friday And Saturday, July 27 & 28

The Nappanee merchants are joining together to hold Dutch Street Days this coming week end. The city-wide promotion includes sales in all stores with bargains and merchandise inside and out. The event will also center around rides and activities on the midway which will be set up on the West Market street city parking lot. Organizations are joining the merchants in the Dutch Street Days activities with the VFW ladies featuring the All-American hot dog and several church groups will be offering old-fashioned homemade ice cream and baked goods for sale. Not to be outdone, the Lions will hold their now-famous chicken barbecue with trimmings one evening, with Jonah fish fry as another evening’s suppertime treat. Members of the North Wood drama club plan a basketball toss and games for sports fans with proceeds going toward a New York theater tour in August.
