Pastor Chad Woodbum read Ephesians 2:1-10 when he delivered his morning message, “The Power of God.” Pastor Woodburn’s evening message, “Paul Praises God for His Blessings,” and read from Ephesians 2:3-14. : Mrs. Paul Lantis and daughter and Mrs. Bob Kaylor and infant son attended services Sunday. Rev. Lantis was admitted to the Plymouth hospital on Saturday. ' —NS—'Happiness' topic of Missionary society The Woman Missionary society of the First Brethren church of Milford met last Thursday evening in the home of Mrs. Jack Sharp. President Mrs. Arlo Beiswanger conducted the business meeting and the group was led in its annual thank offering service by Mrs. James Stuckman. “Happiness” was the topic chosen for the program by Mrs. Otto Wiggs. Each member gave her personal interpretation of happiness. The topic of the evening was “The voice of Jesus” presented by Mrs. Glen Bixler and was followed by a biography of Billy Sunday as the “Evangelist of the month” presentation. The program was closed by Mrs. Wiggs giving the meaning of the 4th of July after which the group sang “My Country Tis of Thee.’’ » Delicious refreshments were served following the meeting by Mrs. Sharp hostess and Mrs. Wiggs co-hostess.. The next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Charlene Wool son. BAUMGARTNER REUNION HELD Several area residents attended the Baumgartner reunion on Sunday at Cissna Park, 111. Miss Anna Baumgartner of Cissna Park was honored for being the oldest person present — 98.
