years experience. The release stated that while the proposed salary schedule is not the highest in the area it is competitive. It is higher than 16 out of 20 school corporations in the surrounding area. The board knows of no other school corporation in the area offering as much as the 5.5 per cent this year. 1 The raise in 1972 for teachers was $250 plus increment which totaled $450 in raises for most teachers. For some teachers who were at the top of the salary schedule and not eligible sos increment it was only the $250. The board wants it known that it also voted the 5.5 per cent raise for all non-teaching personnel at its last meeting. Accepts pastorate in Missouri Rev.
