Yoder was granted tenure at a recent meeting of Goshen college’s board of overseers. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph R. Yoder, r 2 Milford. Prof. Yoder received bachelor of arts degrees from Eastern Mennonite college in 1957 and from GC in 1963. In 1967 he received his master’s from Indiana university and is currently a PhD candidate there. Before coming to the college in 1968, he taught in the Indiana public schools for four years. In 1970 Prof. Yoder led an overseas study-service trimester unit in Honduras. He is married to the former Dorothy Lehman. They have three sons and a daughter. Swerves to miss school bus An accident Friday at 7:50 a.m. on CR 500E resulted in S6OO damage to an auto driven by Lynn A. Helvey, 16, r 1 Leesburg. Driver of the other vehicle was Richard D. Davis, r 1 Milford, who was operating a bus for the Lakeland Community School Corporation at the time of the accident. Miss Helvey came over a rise in the road and was unable to stop when she saw the school bus stopped to pick up a passenger. She swerved to the right and missed the bus and the car came to a stop in a ditch. No damage was done to the bits and no injuries were reported.
