Sewing clinic times are set Do you have questions on sewing knits or men’s sport jackets? If so, plan to attend the Sewing Clinic on Monday < Jan. 8, in the Elkhart Public Library. The clinic will be held from 9:30-12 and from 1-3, and is spon'Sored by the Elkhart County Extension Homemakers Association. It is open to the public. Mrs. Lois Gotwals, extension home economist in clothing and textiles, will demonstrate sewing jersey and lightweight knit fabrics in the morning session plus sewing fabrics of Qiana and 100 per cent synthetic fibers. The 1 p.m. session will demonstrate making men’s sport jackets using quick sewing techniques. Mrs. Gotwals will demonstrate interfacing the coat front, padding and constructing a collar. The less a man knows the longer it takes him to explain it.
