The house, located on road 13 in North Webster, just south of the Rinker store, was moved last Tuesday to its new location on Washington street, just north of the office of Dr. G. W. Stalter, North Webster physician. The lot from which the building is being moved is owned by Thurman E. Rinker and will be used, at least for the time being, as a parking area for Rinker store customers.

Sarber of r 3 Nappanee has returned to his homeport in Newport, R.1., after a six-month deployment to the Mediterranean aboard the destroyer escort USS Voge. Barbee Lakes club has Yule party Holly and Christmas figurines graced the tables at the Barbee Lakes Conservation club house on Tuesday, Dec. 19, as the club members held a carry-in supper and gift exchange. A total of 63 members were present for the evening including Mrs. Lena Mustard, a new member; and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Meier and Mr. and Mrs. Donn Cunningham of Muncie. Following the opening, president Dave Kearns conducted the business meeting and gift exchange. The guest speaker was Rev. Bryce Foster. A Christmas tree and decorations were presented to the club. Also included on the program were Lisa and Cathy Harris who played Christmas carols on their accordions. The committee in charge of the evening’s activities was composed of Mr. and Mrs. Stacy Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Williamson, Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Bostel, Annie Williamson and Jill Davis. Busch, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Busch of r 3 Syracuse was promoted to his present rank and completed the basic machinist mate segment of nuclear power training at Great Lakes. ‘Sound of the Trumpet’ at Christian church
“Sound of the Trumpet,” one of the most unusual and meaningful religious motion pictures ever produced, will be shown at the Milford Christian church on Sunday evening, Jan. 7, at 7 p.m. The film story follows Aden Cosmol, a television network newscaster, who comes upon an unusual story lead. One of his crew, on a routine assignment, brings in footage from a Jesus festival. So Cosmol previews clips of young people who believe in the iminent return of Jesus Christ to planet earth. One injured in Wednesday mishap Martha Hapner, 60, Syracuse, sustained injuries in an accident at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday on Indiana avenue at the north edge of Syracuse when one vehicle swerved to miss a bicyclist and was struck from behind by an auto. The 1958 Ford truck driven by Jerry Hapner, 33, r 3 Syracuse, was traveling southeast on the state road and swerved to miss the young boy on a bicycle.
