With a 42-34 lead at halftime for Prep, Westview hit a scorching 66 per cent from the floor in the second half to outscore the Lakers 58 to 23. Prep had been relying heavily on four starters back from last years squad, however, starting forward Frank Hunckler did not suit for the game due to a bout with the flu and last years leading scorer Sylvester Allen only contributed seven points as he suffered from a previous ankle injury. Otha Wallace led Prep in scoring with 20 points, while two other players, Terry Bonds and Greg Anderson, also hit double figures with 13 and 12, respectively. Westview’s Gary Yoder led all scorers with 29 points for an outstanding game on the boards. The Prep junior varsity further added to woes of Laker fans as they dropped a 44-25 decision to the Westview JV’s. The Lakers will meet Culver Military in the next game of the season. .1 Navajo Indians To Be Program At Golden Rule The Navajo Indians will be the highlight for the special program on Sunday evening, Dec. 3, at 6 p.m. in die Golden Rule Community church at 1220 S. 11th St., Goshen.
