Many Projects Will Be On Exhibit At The Fair
Aside from the livestock projects which are usually associated with 4-H there are also many other projects that will be on exhibit at the Kosciusko county fair. These projects have been developed as to involve city and urban kids as well as those on the farm in 4-H. Such projects are electricity, photography, weather, woodworking, wildlife, forestry, and many others. The 4-Hers in these projects found out August 1 whether or not they were able to meet the stiff competition from throughout the county. All day Tuesday, 4-H general project judging took place. Another project being judged prior to fair opening will be the 4-
H dog obedience project. These 4H members will be meeting Sunday, Aug. 6, 2 p.m., at the fairgrounds show arena. At this time Mrs. Eileen Martz will be determining who has done the best job in grooming and training their dog. Also, hopefully after the dogs leave, at 5 p.m. a new project will complete its first year of existence. This is the 4-H cat project. At this time the cats will be judged on grooming, conformation, and how well their owners handle them. Although there is a lot going on before the fair there is as much if not mere fun, excitement and all around good times during fair week, August 7-12.
