The Fifth Season, an out standing musical group from the Goshen area, will be appearing at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday. June 25. in the auditorium at Camp Alexander Mack near Milford Directing the group which is now in its third season is Dennis Rumfelt, son of Mr. and Mrs Robert Rumfelt of r 2 Milford. During the “Celebration of Lase," the congregation will be involved in six seasons of life. The Season of Coming Together will begin with an ensemble playing “Color My World" from “Chicago " The ensemble consists of Eric Zehr, piano; Steve Johnson, guitar. Large multi-colored weather ballons will be used to celebrate the Season of Creation During the reading of the James Weldon Johnson's “Creation” by Patti Longarden, the large balloons will be released into the

The congregation will celebrate the Creation by continuing to keep the large balloons airborne The song, "Lord of the Dance" will be used to conclude the Season of Creation. Cutie Royalty From 1962 In Webster Cutie royalty from 1962 will be on hand tonight for the annual Cutie King and Queen festivities at the Mermaid Festival. The 1962 queen contestant runner-up Cindy Baney, daughter of Mr. and Mrs Richard Baney of Bourbon and 1962 king Ralph Reiff, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Reiff of r 1 Warsaw, will reign with the 1971 Cutie King and Queen. Miss Daleville Is Kathy Stout The Daleville band has entered Miss Kathy Stout in the Mermaid Festival “Queen of Lakes" contest. Kathy is a member of the Daleville class of 1973. She is 18 and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs Robert Stout of 403 S. Walnut, Daleville Kathy is a blue-eyed blonde who is five feet, two inches tall and weighs 95 pounds. No Injuries In Car-Truck Mishap A semi driven by Alden D. Qark, 38, r 1 Leesburg, collided with an auto driven by Robert B. Ressler. 22, 802 Alvison. Toledo. Ohio, Tuesday, June 13. The mishap occurred on East Market St.. Warsaw, about 30 feet east of Buffalo street No damage was listed to the semi and 560 was listed for the Ressler auto.

congregational humming of “Amazing Grace” will conclude the Season of Sharing. In the Season of Love, Marcia Yost will sing an original song “God’s Song." Following a narration of 1 Corinthians 13 and a "College in Sound," by Joel Yoder. Randy Carpenter will sing "W’hat Color Is God’s Skin.” The Season of Change will be given, followed bv the singing of “Biowin’ In The Wind.” “You Can Experience.” “Let There Be Peace on Earth." The new service was designed by members of the group, who will narrate the service. Rev. Paul Koepke, consultant to the group and Dennis Rumfelt. y■ I •MISS BLUFFTON JAYCEES’ — Cheryl Biberstein. a freshman at Bali State university, has entered the Mermaid Festival queen contest currently underway at North Webster. Cheryl is “Miss Bluffton Jaycees” and is being sponsored by her home town Jaycees. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Hatch, 127 E. Centrel. Bluffton. She is 18 and has brown hair and blue eyes. Miss Biberstein stands five feet, eight inches tall and weighs 119 pounds. LAKELAND LOCAL Mr and Mrs. Frank Green and family of Milford were Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Green’s parents. Mr. and Mrs. Grover Waldron of White Pigeon, Mich. The Greens* son. Dennis, is spending the week with his grandparents and next week the Greets’ other son will spend the week there.

25 Beauties Vie For ‘Queen Os Lakes’
A total of 25 girls are entered in the “Queen of Lakes" contest this year at the North Webster Mermaid Festival. Each is hoping she will be crowned queen on Saturday night. Reigning queen Miss Debbie Greiner of North Webster is overseeing the festivities of the week and will concede her crown to her successor after final judging on Saturday. The girls attended the Mermaid Ball on Friday night of last week and a reception on Tuesday. Friday they will compete in swim-suit competition and each will enter a decorated convertible or float in Saturday’s parade. Local Swim Lessons Start Red Cross swimming lessons begin July 10 at Waubee Lake. Lesson time and cost will depend on how many children sign up for the course. People who want to take these lessons should register with Waubee life guard and swimming instructor, Charles Baldwin, who is at Waubee Lake every day between 12 and 4 p.m. A Red Cross certificate will be given to those who complete the course. LOCAL MEN ON TRIP TO ATLANTIC CITY Jerry L. Badskey, North Webster; Lorin J. Badskey, North Webster; Dave Everts. North Webster; and Chris Koher; Syracuse, are attending the annual Kiwanis International convention in Atlantic City, N.J., June 18-21. At the convention the four local Kiwanians will help elect the 1972-1973 international Kiwanis president, and hear from personalities such as Art Linkletter. Miss America 1972. They will also have an opportunity entertained by Sammy Kaye and his orchestra and Anita Bryant and Dick Shawn. Instruct Youth Under 14 On New Boating Laws About 70 youngsters under 14 years of age and a number of parerits attended the first of three sessions last night at the Lakeland Youth Center to instruct youths in the new boating laws, which should take affect before the summr is over. The three sessions, one last night, one Thursday night, June 22, and the third on Wednesday, June 28, are under the direction of Ted Null, superintendent of the state conservation department, and Sgt. Lavalle Hanson, conservation officer. Local conservation officer Earl Money will be in charge of the Thursday session. The course is a six-hour course, two hours each session. Following completion of the course, youths under 14 will be given a certificate authorizing them to operate boats with 10 horse power engines.

Attend Sunday Service At Bear Lake Camp A total of 60 persons were in attendance at Bear Lake camp Sunday when 11 young people of the Syracuse Church of God were baptized. The young people were Jack, Judy and Donna Weaver, Jill and Jo Hamell, Julie and Tim Bushong. Julie Secrist, Debbie Overfelt, Tammy Keck and Steve Koble. A service was held in the amphitheatre of the camp prior to going to the lake for services, conducted by Pastor Walter C. Burcham of Syracuse, assisted by elders Jack Elam and Paul Yeager. Mr. and Mrs. George Haab of Milford have guests of their sons and families staying with them this week. They are Mr. and Mrs. Fred Haab and sons, Danny and Timmy, of Maryland and Mr. and Mrs. Terry Haab and daughters, Robin and Debbie, of Orland Park, 111. - .
