ON THE MULTIPLE SUPPORT OF RELATIVE QUESTION: Gary, Harry and Barry each contribute one-third of tne support of their aged mother who has no other income. It is their understanding that none of them can claim her as a

dependent on their tax return since you must contribute more than one-half of a person's total cost of support in order to claim them as a dependent. Are they right? ANSWER: Normally you must contribute more than half of a dependent’s support before you will be entitled to an exemption. Here, however, we have a potential exception. The three brothers can fill out a multiple support statement (Form 2120) and take turns claiming her. Thus, each one would get an additional exemption every third year.

The Chaffins’ car then continued toward Goshen for approximately 1,000 feet, apparently in’an 1 attempt to leave the scene it was theorized, and Russell L. Extension Service Holds Meeting Elkhart county building commissioner and zoning administrator Hubert Nusbaum discussed the building codes and the administration at an educational meeting of the county extension service Tuesday evening, at the extension office. The meeting was arranged by Leo N. Seltenright, area extension agent in community development and over 30 were in attendance. Nusbaum pointed out that agricultural buildings on an area of more than 5 acres do not need building permits.
