Neighbor Kenneth Haney called the 17 horses “among the finest horses I've ever seen.” And another neighbor, John Biller, said. “In my years of farming, it would have been a real pleasure to work with horses like these ” Each of the large horses weighed about 1800 pounds, according to Walter Kern, a r 2 South Whitley dealer in horses who was present at the Saturday sale. He, too, praised the horses, and decried the fact that these animals are disappearing from Indiana farms.—

Bremen have a new daughter. The mother is the former Blanche Snobarger of Syracuse. Mr. and Mrs. Fieldon Sharp and two sons were Sunday callers of relatives in Milford. Hugh McPherson was married recently and residing at Detroit, Mich. Miss Tillman LeCount of Millersburg returned home Saturday following a week’s visit with her parents, the Adam Darrs. ’ * Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Rentfrow and Ed Ott were Friday callers in the home of their daughter, Mrs. Mary Vorhis.
