Bill McCreary, a patient at the state hospital at Rushville, Ind., sends this column a letter of good wishes to his many friends in the Milford community, and encloses this tricky questions: "If it takes a four-month-old w<M>dpecker with a rubber bill four months and 13 days to peck a

We don’t know, Bill. What is the answer? Bill’s address is Holiday House, 114 East sth street, Rushville, Ind. «m. Many of my readers have been asking about my grandmother, Mrs. Mary Huber, who was recently released from the Goshen hospital. She is improving slowly but is still confined to bed most of the day and like most people who are or have been ill, she appreciates hearing from friends and relatives. By the way, she’ll be 82 years young on Saturday. Happy Birthday, Grandma! Have you read the article on the Amish which appeared in most daily papers last week. It was an Associated Press article and was sent via wire to papers throughout the country. It’s author: Earleen Fisher, daughter of the Noble Fishers of near Our Town. Earleen is graduate of Milford high a 1968 graduate of IndianAimiversity’s school of journalism Y
