$1 Million In Damages Sought A $1 million damage suit was filed by Everett Tom. Sr., r 2 Leesburg, in federal court in
Indianapolis, Monday. The suit states that he received severe bums, lost a portion of one hand and was hospitalized for sonte time when dynamite he was using to blow up large stones on his farm near Leesburg, blew up prematurely. The defendants named in the
suit, charging negligence, were E. I. DuPont de Nemours Company of Delaware, makers of the dynamite, afid the EnsignBickfore Company of Connecticut. manufacturers of the fuse. Scouts To Meet At 7:30 Monday In Milford 1 The time for the meeting of the Boy Scouts in Milford next Monday has been set for 7:30 p.m. according to scoutmaster Robert Vanlaningham. The boys and their parents are invited to attend the meeting which will be held in the newly remodeled scout cabin. There is a guest speaker scheduled for the evening’s program. Beginning with the meeting on Monday the scouts of troop 47, Milford, will meet each Monday in the scout cabin. LAKELAND LOCAL The Calvin Becks of Bonar lake are expected home this week from Nokomis, Fla. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Zimmerman of Milford went to Indianapolis on Tuesday to attend a meeting. Mrs. Lloyd Felkner and Chester Felkner of Milford spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Herman Miller, also of Milford. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Weaver of Syracuse have returned from a two-week southern trip including a visit with her daughter. Mrs. Deanna Lambert at Ruskin, Fla., and a visit to the Florida Keys. After spending two weeks with his grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Overstedt at Milford. Samuel Temple, son of Dr. and Mrs. A. A. Temple, returned to the family home in Lansing, 111., last Saturday.
