Tuesday Junior Bowlers End League Season

The Tuesday Junior Bowlers league at Wawasee, Bowl ended their season with a dinner last week with 29 high school youths and three adults in attendance Mrs Robert Brown and Mrs Kenneth Knisley supervised the league Awards Following the buffet dinner, awards were presented Team champs were the Alley Kings composed of Dale Brown, Steve Petersen. Trophies were donated to the Junior bowlers by Miss Carol Gunden of North Webster and new plates, engraving and appropriate figures were purchased with monies received through sanctioning of the youths. Several teams have been organized to participate in the State Junior Bowling tournament being held m April and May at Lafayette under the direction of Mrs Bert Horner, state JSA secretarv. of Crown Point

Don Frantz To Speak To WHS's Adult Farmers Don Frantz, county extension agent, will be guest speaker at the Wawasee high school adult farmers class this week He will be speaking on zoning and livestock and waste disposal Next week Marvin Metzger will be guest speaker His subject will be on carcus evaluation. .Also to be discussed is contract selling <)n March 25 the class will tour the Farm Bureau Coop facilities in Indianapolis. Vern Lehman will be present for the March 29 meeting and will talk on farm chemicals.
