The Wawasee Warriors met the, Northfield Norsemen at Wawasee »last Friday evening and closed the regular season with a 76-62 victory Wawasee appeared to hold offensive tactics their main objective but pushed their defense into gear in the last quarter to hold down the Northfield attacking offense when the Norsemen totaled 29 points to break Wawasee’s 25 point third quarter lead • John Hamilton tied the school's record of 38 points in one game as he hit six fouls and pushed in 16 field goals The record was held by Steve Zurcher.

Sharon (Mrs. William) Myers, a former Syracusean, was featured last week in the Prin- . ceton newspaper where they reside, as Bowler of the Week when she bowled the first 600-plus series at Gibson Lanes by a 4 woman bowler in three years Her big series came in a Tuesday afternoon bowling league with a 212-196-211 for a 621. This is the fourth series of 600 or more pins rolled by Mrs. Myers who bowls in four leagues a week with averages ranging from a 158 to a 166. She also placed third in the city tourney all-events scratch division this year and eighth in singles

ISA sanctioned snowmobile races will be held Sunday, Feb. 28. at the race track located four miles south of North Webster on SR 13. Races will be in all classes on the three-eighths banked oval with trophies in the Junior & powder puff classes and prizes in other classes. exceeding 60 mph down the straight aways on the track. Stock classes with lower speeds are so evenly matched that winners are by driving skill. This track has proved to be one of the best in Indiana and popular with drivers this winter. With this being the final race of the season, all top-drivers and machines from Indiana and parts of Michigan are expected to participate.
