Because of a change made this year by the Indiana High School Athletic Association the Tnton School Corporation, composed of the Bourbon. Etna Green and Tippecanoe communities, will host the 1971 sectional tournament. k Said tourney will be played in the new Triton junior-senior high school gym located at the east edge of Bourbon

This is the first time in seven years the sectional tournament has not been held in Warsaw. No reason was forthcoming from the IHSAAon the move to Triton The Warsaw gym seats 3,409 persons while the Triton gym seats 3,474. Schools participating in the Triton sectional are the same as those who participated in the Warsaw sectional — .Akron. Mentone, Rochester, Warsaw,
Wawasee and the host school, Triton. No Eating Problem One of the first thoughts brought to mind by many basketball fans was concerning > eating facilities in Bourbon. Like many northern Indiana communities. the town does not have enough eating establishments to take care of an additional 3,000 persons.

There is, however, nothing to worry about since anothef IHSAA ruling adopted this year provides for two games to be played Thursday night, two games on Friday night and the championship game on Saturday. Thus the afternoon sessions are eliminated and there is no problem as to where persons will eat. Triton high school was built in
1968 and currently serves 361 high school students and 200 junior high school students. Howard Liggett is in his first year as the school’s principal. He also serves as athletic director. Creighton Bums is in his fourth year as coach at the school. Bums is assisted by Fred Perry and Bob King. Nicholas Richer is superintendent of the Triton School corporation.
