Valparaiso was third with 56 points. Portage followed with 16 with the Warriors in fifth with 14. Michigan City had eight.

Pt I * if-ift?* SNOWMOBILES TRANSPORT SCOUTS — Snowmobiles were used to transport the 100 scouts who participated in the winter camporee held February 13 and 14. The scouts were assembled at Norm's Sports Shop near Larwill and transported to the Ed Mulligan farm some five miles away.

100 Scouts Attend VFinter Camporee

The Boy Scout Winter Camporee was held February 13 and 14 with over 100 boys attending. The Camporee started Saturday morning when everyone met at Norm's Sport shop at Larwill. They were transported to the Ed Mulligan farm, five miles away, by snowmobile. Everyone slept overnight in -0 weather. The next morning a large number hiked five miles to a Methodist church.
