-■ WHERE’S THE BALL — No less than seven of the 10 basketball players allowed on the floor at one time seems to be searching the rafters for a lost basketball in the above photo. Two players in the left of the photo even seem to be jumping for that round object that’s necessary to play the game termed aS Hoosier Hysteria. If you look closely you’ll even find one of the referees seeking some action. He’s way up in the crowd and really doesn't have too good of a view of what’s going on down on the floor. Actually it's a double exposure that we couldn’t resist.

AERONAUTICS,
WASHINGTON — Two bullfrogs, instrumented for spaceflight, were, sent into orbit by NASA to learn more about man's inner ear and how it helps him his balance. Strange as it may seem, our inner ear functions much like that of a frog. 1 ♦♦ ♦ a The Soviet Cosmonauts, Andrian Nikolayev and Vitali Sevastyanov, who established the record for longduration space flight, 18 days last June in the Soyuz 9 spacecraft, report they had considerable trouble re-adap-ting to the gravity forces on Earth. For one thing, they had difficulty walking, finding they did not have a smooth gait, and stomped rather then stepped. Their lifting muscles, back and legs, were weakened and their heads felt heavy. They even claim their legs became thinner. But both Cosmonauts claim they returned to normal in about two weeks. This is a matter of considerable concern to American astronauts, none of whom have had these difficulties ift adjusting to Earth after long space flight. On the other hand, no American astronaut has flown in space that long.
