Humane Society Disturbed With Animal Treatment Members of the county humane society have expressed their concern at treatment for animals in the winter season. The position of a dog house was discussed and they ask that the opening be placed in a position to protect the animal from the northwest storms. Also of great concern was the fastening of animals outside so as to abide to many town ordinances of keeping pets confined to home property. They ask that an animal that is tied or chained outside, be fastened to a wire attached between several trees or poles so the pet can have some freedom to move about and still not get his chain fast on surrounding* obstacles. Gene Brumfield, Warsaw police chief is president of the soiciety. .
