Cook in boiling salted water for eight minutes, until tender. Drain. Add egg, milk, butter, onion and dry bread crumbs. Place in greased one quart baking dish. Top with buttered crumbs. Bake in moderate oven 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Add 2 onions, sliced and separated and cooked a little. Add 4 cup brown sugar, 4 cup vinegar, 1T salt, 1 T dry mustard and cook a little. Add 1 can undrained Boston baked beans to drained beans and mix everything together. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
