OBITUARIES
Mrs. Thomas Quinn Funeral services were held Monday morning for Mrs. Adeline I. Quinn, 60, of r 3 Syracuse. She died unexpectedly of a heart attack Thursday evening while visiting in the home of friends at Ligonier. Mrs. Quinn had been in failing health since January. She was bom at Chicago, 111., on February 24, 1910 to Alfred and Laura (Betoume) Julian and was united in marriage on February 28, 1927 to Thomas Quinn. He survives. A Syracuse resident for the past 18-months coming here from Harvey, 111., she was a housewife and member of Saint Martin de Porres Church south of Syracuse. Also surviving are two sons, Thomas Quinn Jr., of Martinez, Ga, and Charles Quinn, Midlothian, Ill.; two daughters. Mrs. Donald (Mary Beth) Griffith, Ligonier and Miss Laurie Quinn of Calumet City, Bl.; one brother, Alfred Julian, Oak Park Hl.; and one sister. ■ Mrs. James (Vivian) Donda of Brookfield. 111. Mrs. Eva Marie Lesh Death claimed Mrs. Eva Marie Lesh, 88, r 1 North Webster, at 3:30 a.m. today (Wednesday) at Miller’s Merry Manor in Warsaw. Death was due to complications. She had been ill one month. Mrs. Lesh was bom in Wells county on August 28, 1882, a daughter of Sam and Mary Ann McAfee. She came to the North Webster area in 1944 from Bluffton. She was united in marriage on June 15, 1905 to Herman Lesh who preceded her in death in 1950. Mrs. Lesh was a housewife and a member of the United Methodist church at North Webster. Survivors include one daughter. Miss Mary Jane Lesh, North Webster; one son, Francis Lesh. Bluffton; one granddaughter; one great-grandson; and a sister, Mrs. H. H. Redding. North Webster. One sister preceded her in death. Friends will be received at the Harris funeral home at North Webster after 1 p.m. Thursday and until service time Friday at 1 p.m. Rev. John Weeks will officiate. Burial will be in Elm Grove cemetery. Bluffton.

Andrew Jason Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wuethrich of Rensselaer are the parents of a seven pound, 64 ounce boy named Andrew Jason. The infant was bom on September 28 and is the seventh child. His brothers and sisters are Becky, Bruce, Bobbi, Blake, Bonnie and Reggie. SINN, Duane Lee Mr. and Mrs. Ray Sinn of Haviland, Ohio, are the parents of an eight pound, nine ounce boy bom October 6. The youngster was named Duane Lee. He has two sisters. Susie and Jane, and four brothers. Gary, Phil, Mark and Steve. STOLLER, Sue Lynn Mr. and Mrs. Millard Stoller of Paulding, Ohio, are the parents of a daughter. Sue Lynn, bom on September 17. The new Miss tipped the scales at eight pounds, 34 ounces and is the couple’s fourth child. Lane, Amy Jo and Cody are the names of the other children in the family. KNELLER son Mr and Mrs. Garry Kneeler of r 1 Leesburg are the parents of a son born October 5 in the Murphy Medical Center at Warsaw. STOREY, Judd Edward Wawasee high school football coach and Mrs. Don Storey of Syracuse are the parents of their first child, a son, Judd Edward, bom at 8:40 a m. on October 10. The young ladd tipped the scales at six pounds, 15 ounces and measured 184 inches long. Grandparents are Mrs. Helen Edwards of North Manchester and Mr. and Mrs. Volney Storey of Shabbana, 111. Mrs. Susie Grossnickle of North Manchester is a great-grandmother.
DICK, Michelle and Matthew Mr. and Mrs. Philip Dick of r 1 Leesburg are parents of twins, Michelle Renee and Matthew Philip, bom Saturday, Oct. 10, in the Goshen hospital. Michelle, bom at 3:30 a.m., tipped the scales at eight pounds, four ounces and measured 214 inches. Matthew was bom at 3:38 a.m. He weighed in at six pounds, three ounces and measured 19 inches. Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Walter G. Crawford and Mr. and Mrs. Paul E. Dick are the paternal grandparents. MULLINS. Paula Mr. and Mrs. Clarence R. Mullins of r 3 Syracuse are the parents of a seven pound and four ounce daughter, Paula, bom on Thursday, Oct. 8, at Goshen hospital. Paula has a sister, Trisha, five years of age. George Brown and Clarence Mullins, both of Salversville, Ky .. are grandfathers of the newborn. BETTS. Theresa Marie Mr. and Mrs. Arden F. Betts are the parents of a six pound eight ounce daughter, Theresa Marie, bom at Brooks hospital at Fort Sam Houston. Texas. The mother is the former Patricia Grenard of Syracuse and Tracy is their first child. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Miller of Syracuse and Mrs. Arden M. Betts of Elkhart. Mrs. Arden F. Betts and new daughter are expected in Syracuse soon and Mr. Betts will serve a tour of duty overseas. Hospital Notes Al Paul, r 1 Milford, was admitted to the Goshen hospital on Wednesday. Noble Fisher of near Milford was admitted to the Murphy Medical Center on Thursday. Mrs. Effie Johnson of r 2 Syracuse was admitted to Goshen hospital Wednesday after suffering a heart attack. Gloria Jean Holloway of 306 east John street, Syracuse, was admitted Wednesday to Goshen hospital. Edward Droke, Syracuse, was admitted Wednesday night to Goshen hospital, and released on Friday. Gregory Sawyer of 724 Pittsburgh street, Syracuse, entered Goshen hopsital on Thursday. Nelson Miles of north Shore Drive, Syracuse, is a patient at Elkhart hospital. Botella paid $23.25 for not having an inspection sticker on his vehicle, $23.25 for false registration and $23.25 for operating a vehicle with no license. LOSES CONTROL OF AUTO ON CURVE William D. Kiser JOf r 3 Syracuse lost control of his auto on a curve Monday at 5:30 on county road 500 North causing him to skid into a fence at the H. E. Dodds farm and tear up underground wires of the United Telephone company. Investigating officer Ron Robinson with the sheriff’s department estimated damage at $l2O to the Kiser car and S2OO to the fence and telephone wires. COMBINE FIRE THURSDAY A. M. Members of the Milford fire department responded to a fire at the Worth Jackson farm west of town on Thursday when a combine caught on fire in one of Jackson’s fields.
